Senior Administrator job summary
We are looking for an excellent administrative professional with a proven track record of working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment to help us to continue to deliver excellence within our truly special place. Oldmixon Primary School in Weston-super-Mare is committed to helping children thrive by building their confidence and supporting their individual achievements.

As Senior School Administrator, your key responsibility is to oversee administrative and business processes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to the overall success of the school.
This includes:
- administrative management: oversee daily operations including scheduling, record-keeping, correspondence, and ensuring all deadlines (daily, weekly, termly, and annual) are met with accuracy and confidentiality.
- organisational coordination: plan and manage school events, coordinate resources, liaise with external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- confidentiality and safeguarding: maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information relating to pupils, staff, and school operations.
- communication excellence: communicate effectively with staff, pupils, parents, governors, and external partners, representing the school with professionalism and warmth.
- problem solving and organisation: manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems efficiently, and maintain high standards under pressure.
- front-of-house service: deliver a courteous, polite, and efficient reception service for all visitors, in line with safeguarding procedures.
