Stockingford Nursery School is a 132 place Local Authority Maintained Nursery School. Warwickshire Library are situated on the same site, as our Children and Family Centre Services run by Barnardo’s.

Stockingford Nursery School includes provision for 2-3 year-olds in Little Nursery, and for 3-4 year-olds in Big Nursery. We also provide a Middle Nursery SEND provision base for some children in our school community requiring more enhanced, targeted provision.

Job Title: Senior Early Years Educator (S0065)

37 hours per week TTO hours Monday to Friday

Stockingford Nursery School includes provision for 2-3 year-olds in Little Nursery, and for 3-4 year-olds in Big Nursery. The ethos of our Nursery School is distinctive and we believe that every child is unique, with their own interests, learning styles and culture.

We have a Senior Early Years Educator (SEYE) position available to join our friendly team in our nurturing environment from September 2026. This role will include being a key person for a group of children, supporting their learning alongside the Nursery Teachers and liaising closely with families to ensure the children have the best possible start to their educational journey.

This post is for 37 hours per week, term time only and is Monday to Friday. A job share will be considered for the right candidate/s.

Key Requirements

You will hold a relevant level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent qualification and have experience of working with children aged 2-4 years. Experience of working with children with individual needs (SEND) would be desirable. You will be required to understand and comply with our Nursery School policies and procedures especially relating to Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Data Protection, Code of Conduct and confidentiality.

You must be prepared to undertake relevant training necessary for this position including safeguarding, paediatric first aid, health and safety and food hygiene.
