Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to lead the team in the Afterschool Club at Bilton Community Primary School near Hull. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high quality, caring and stimulating environment.
Job requirements
Working within the Afterschool Club Team to deliver wraparound care for children aged 3 - 11 years. To provide a caring, secure environment, through individual attention and group activities and to organise an appropriate range of leisure activities for the children attending each day.
The right candidate will have:
Experience of working with children in a formal setting.
Basic Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate prior to taking up the post.
A proven ability to work on their own initiative with a good level of self-motivation.
A good level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
The ability to use relevant technology/equipment would be advantageous.
A good understanding of healthy eating and good dining habits.
A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
An essential criteria for this role is that candidates must have a Level 3 ‘full and relevant’ qualification - check guidance as follows:
