Senior Facilities Officer (Capital & Compliance) job summary

The Senior Facilities Officer (Capital & Compliance) supports the Head of Facilities in delivering a safe, compliant, efficient and future ready estate across the Trust. The role provides operational leadership for statutory compliance, Trust-wide monitoring, and capital project coordination, ensuring all schools meet the expectations of:

• DfE School Estate Management Standards (2025)

• Education Estates Strategy (2026)

• Good Estate Management for Schools (GEMS)

• Building Safety Act requirements

• Trust policies and procedures

The postholder acts as the Trust’s compliance lead and capital delivery coordinator, bridging the gap between strategic estate planning and operational site management.
