Senior Finance Assistant job summary
Join our dedicated Business Management and Administration team as a Senior Finance Assistant at The Bulmershe School. We are looking for an organised and accurate finance professional to support our daily financial operations and general school administration. Key responsibilities include:
- Financial Processing: Manage bank reconciliations, process trip payments, review balance sheets, monitor budgets and track supplier invoices using data visualization.
- Lettings and Invoicing: Reconcile lettings income, raise customer invoices, input bookings and handle enquiries from external community hirers.
- School Administration: Provide general administrative support to the Assistant School Business Manager, assist teaching staff and carry out front of house reception duties.
- System Management: Maintain historical archives, update finance databases and ensure accurate record keeping across all school office systems.
The ideal candidate would have a strong background in finance, excellent IT skills and the ability to review balance sheets accurately. Previous school finance experience, knowledge of SIMS or PSF Financials and an accountancy qualification are highly desirable.
