Senior Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and courteous Senior Learning Support Assistant, with management responsibilities, to work in our excellent Learning Support Department.
The role will primarily involve leading and being part of a team that supports special educational needs within the classroom. The role will involve working with the whole ability range of students across all three Key Stages and the full range of the curriculum.
The successful candidate will have:
• A recognised SEND qualification and a working knowledge of the Code of Practice.
• At least five GCSE grade C/4, or above, including English and mathematics.
• Recent experience of working with 11-16 year olds within a Learning Support Department.
• Good organisational, ICT and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm and be hardworking.
