Senior Science Technician job summary

Required to start in September 2020, the Senior Science Technician will provide comprehensive technician support to staff and students. In this key position, the successful candidate will undertake a range of duties including taking overall responsibility for preparing teaching materials for staff, supporting students and staff in the classroom and providing technical assistance across the Science department.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and well organised individual who has excellent communications skills, is able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure and has the ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.

Relevant experience of working in a science laboratory or similar setting would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given if not experienced.
