What skills and experience we're looking for
The Joseph Whitaker School is a popular 11-18 school, in Rainworth, a village just outside of Mansfield. It serves the three local villages of Blidworth, Rainworth and Ravenshead and has around 1300 students.
The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic energetic Senior Science Technician to join our highly motivated Science department. The successful candidate will prepare materials and equipment for lessons, and support teachers in the delivery of practical work for students in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and management skills. Applicants should be reliable, well organised, hardworking, adaptable, and able to work on their own initiative.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified Key Stage 5 Teacher of Criminology, ideally with experience of teaching Psychology and/or Sociology A-level.
We have extremely high expectations of our students and staff and offer excellent training and professional development opportunities. This position would be ideal for either someone looking to broaden their experience of Key Stage 5 teaching.
