Senior Sports Coach & PE Lead - Loughton School

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Sports Coach & PE Lead to join our team. You will inspire children through high-quality PE, games, and extra-curricular activities, leading the development of sport across the school. Loughton School covers year 3 through to Year 6 and caters for 480 pupils.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a strong background in sports coaching/PE (minimum Level 2 qualification; Level 3 desirable).

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, coaching ability, and a commitment to raising standards.

• Lead and deliver engaging lessons, after-school clubs, fixtures (including some evenings/weekends), and inter-school competitions.

• Oversee PE curriculum, assessment, and resources while promoting health, wellbeing, and inclusion.

• Model professionalism, strong communication, and teamwork in all aspects of school life.
