Welcome to 5 Dimensions Trust. We are a Multi-Academy Trust that serves the young people of west Milton Keynes, currently comprise two high-performing secondary schools – The Hazeley Academy and Shenley Brook End School.
The Trust was formed with very clear beliefs in education. As well as believing that excellent outcomes should be a goal for all our students, we also understand that the manner in which these results are achieved are as important. We consider that young people should develop their wider skills as they enjoy their learning on route to becoming well-rounded adults; a truly holistic education. Staff at our schools should also have the opportunity to develop their professional skills as they enjoy supporting our students on that journey. This requires close links with our families and the wider community, having schools that are at the centre of the local neighbourhood.
We are an innovative Trust that promotes the individual character and climate of each school and establishes mutual support and improvement through active collaboration.
5 Dimensions Trust believes in inspiring and empowering the growth of a vibrant community of exceptional people within its academies. Our values endorse our commitment to the principles of diversity and supporting and challenging others through robust, deep partnership and collaboration through our 5 key dimensions:
Collaborating to ensure truly holistic education
Rising together to the challenge of academic rigour
Creating a supportive partnership with parents, carers and families
Sharing to create a positive, high performing environment for staff
Crafting a meaningful partnership with our wider community
In the 5 Dimensions Trust, we
cheer for the other schools and they cheer for us;
know that the differences between us make us even stronger;
are excited by challenges and embrace calculated risk;
understand honest mistakes occur and learn from them together;
are positive in our communications and understand their power;
reward cooperative and positive relationships but understand that sometimes new levels can only be reached through dialectic;
are humble enough to give and receive support;
gain fulfilment by playing a positive role in our community.
