What skills and experience we're looking for
Woolley Wood School is seeking a permanent senior teaching assistant (level 3) to join our Early Years team. Woolley Wood School educates and cares for primary pupils (2-11) with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities including those with profound and complex needs.
The successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and the Police Act Regulations. We also undertake a Teachers’ Prohibited check, a Children’s Regulations 2009 and a Social Media check for all posts. References for shortlisted candidates will be sought before interviews. Other checks required for the position will also be undertaken. It is an offence to apply for this position if you are barred from working with children.
