Sidmouth CE Primary - Senior School Administrator job summary
The First Federation Trust, a multi academy trust of 21 primary schools across Devon, West Dorset and Plymouth is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our hard working and committed team at Sidmouth CE Primary School. The position is for 25hrs per week, Monday - Friday, term time only plus 3 weeks.
The Senior Administrator is a key role in the operation of the school and is highly respected. This post requires dedication and a highly efficient approach providing support and guidance to the Head of school on a range of admin functions. You will manage the whole school administrative function and support the Business Manager in being responsible for / overseeing the
- financial resource management
- administration management
- facility and property management
- health & safety management of the school
The successful candidate will have line management responsibilities and understand the importance of teamwork to enable teams to perform effectively.
You will be a friendly, enthusiastic and highly-organised individual who can build a rapport with pupils, parents, staff and visitors alike. This is a varied role that covers a wide range of duties and can be challenging at times but is highly rewarding.
If you are organised, sociable and thrive on busy schedules where no two days are the same, this role could be for you. Office experience is essential, ideally within a school environment. Strong IT skills and the ability to work to targets and deadlines within a busy office environment is essential, and knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage.
