37 hours per week – Full time (52 weeks)

Part Time would be considered. This is because we want the best person for this role and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.

25 days holiday (not in term time preferred) plus bank holidays- (Part time holiday pro rata)

Hours: Rota – between 7:00am – 6:30pm Monday - Friday (Hours would be discussed at interview)

We are looking for a kind, hardworking and self-motivated person to join our friendly and supportive team as our new site agent.

The role would be ideal for someone who is flexible, takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

You will play a vital role in ensuring security of our school site, that the building and grounds are maintained in a safe, clean and secure condition as well as co-ordinating and undertaking tasks as may be necessary for effective site management, while ensuring that regulations are followed and adhered to throughout.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills; knowledge of and the ability to undertake various maintenance and repair works, be pro-active and able to demonstrate the ability to work under their own initiative. Previous experience of working in a school environment would be advantageous but not necessarily essential.

The role also includes main key holding duties which will require the postholder to be contactable at all hours in the event of an emergency.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining premises in good state of repair
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Security of premises
  • Daily opening and closing checks
  • Daily health and safety checks.
  • Heating and lighting
