Site Facility Person job summary

This role is for 37 hours per week, all year around.

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Site Facilities Person at Brooke Primary Academy.

About the Role

We are seeking a hardworking and proactive individual to help maintain our school buildings and grounds to a high standard. Working as part of our site team, you’ll be responsible for general maintenance, cleaning, security, health and safety checks, and ensuring the school is clean, safe, and ready for learning each day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out day-to-day site maintenance and repairs

  • Supporting cleaning and caretaking duties

  • Managing security of the site including locking/unlocking buildings

  • Monitoring health and safety standards

  • Setting up rooms and spaces for school events or external use

  • Liaising with contractors and ensuring compliance with school procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Practical and hands-on, with a good understanding of basic maintenance

  • Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player

  • Able to work independently and use initiative

  • Committed to maintaining a safe environment for pupils and staff

  • Ideally experienced in a similar role (but training can be provided)
