What skills and experience we're looking for
Sikh Academies Trust has an exciting opportunity for a multiskilled, proactive and efficient Site Maintenance Offer to join our Facilities Team in either of our two school’s buildings and modern purpose-built facilities.
You will provide an efficient and effective site and facilities service for a wide range of school facilities, ensuring a safe, pleasant teaching and learning environment for staff, students and visitors.
You will be based at one of our 2 schools within the trust with the ability to travel to our other schools (all within a 5 mile radius) to support the other site teams in the event of illness/holidays/projects and events cover.
Applicants will need to have proactive and positive abilities such as; good communication, working well within a team, organisational skills, has the initiative to instigate outstanding tasks and site improvement whilst also being responsive to staff and student requests for assistance.
This is a ‘hands-on role’ role that will cover many aspects such as opening/locking of premises, compliance based tasks, premises maintenance and improvement, operation of plant and equipment and setting up for school events.
The sites comprise of the Pioneer Secondary Academy and Khalsa Primary School, with growth to a third site.
Full time - 37.5 hours per week
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
