7am-11am & 2.30pm-6pm Mon-Thurs

7am-10.30am & 2.30pm-6pm Friday

Delves Federation (incorporating Delves Infant & Nursery & Delves Junior School) are seeking to appoint, a reliable, professional, and practical individual. This is an exciting time to join our schools, with the formation of our Academy Trust!

The successful candidate will support our schools in providing a safe, effective, and efficient learning environment. Responsibilities cover general site management duties including the security of the schools, maintenance and repair work, emergency call outs, statutory and compliance activities and health and safety checks. Duties will also include ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is maintained to support and safeguard the welfare of all persons using the school’s premises.

The successful candidate will need to be fit and able to cope with physically challenging duties and have the skills to carry out minor repairs and improvements. They will also have good IT, written and communication skills and be ready to deal with a variety of situations.

Our Site Manager will need to work flexibly at all times and may on occasion be required to work during weekends and bank holidays. There will be a requirement to undertake training appropriate to the post.

Please note annual leave must be taken during school holidays.

Previous experience of site management, school caretaking, statutory and compliance activities, health and safety, repair and maintenance work and working on a school site would be desirable but isn’t essential as full training will be given.
