Hillside Primary and Nursery School in Hucknall is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join our team. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the quality of our large school site.

The Role: As the Site Manager, you will undertake a range of site management duties to the agreed quality standards, including security, cleaning, porterage, and maintenance of the school site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and operating within the school maintenance budget.
- Assisting with the determination of medium and long-term strategies for building maintenance and site development.
- Administering and coordinating building-related matters of maintenance, repair, and servicing.
- Supervising and providing directive advice to the cleaning staff and any members of the wider site team.
- Liaising with contractors, obtaining quotations, and supervising contractors on site.
- Undertaking regular inspections of the site, buildings, and plant, recording necessary repairs, and contacting contractors.
- Ensuring the security of the premises and attending to the intruder alarms where applicable.
- Cleaning designated areas and maintaining high standards in these areas.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a similar site management role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Is a skilled communicator with strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Has a good understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Is proficient in using a wide range of IT.
- Pays exceptional attention to detail and ensures accuracy in all tasks.
- Can effectively prioritise and manage their workload independently.
- Is committed to the mission, culture, and values of Hillside Primary and Nursery School.
- Has practical skills in maintenance, DIY, and basic repairs.
- Is proactive and able to respond to emergencies effectively.
- Can work collaboratively with school staff and external contractors.
