Site Operative job summary

We require a highly motivated and proactive Site Operative, reporting to the school Site Lead.

You will be responsible for the improvement, maintenance and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds. You will ensure the school sites are fully compliant and fit for each working day, ensuring that the best possible environments are provided for pupils and staff. Other duties will include security of the sites, minor maintenance work including painting and cleaning, and liaison with contractors.

You may be required to support other schools within the Central Region Schools Trust where appropriate. You will need to be flexible during busy periods and be able to work split shifts as and when required.

The successful candidate must have the ability to use effective communication skills; written, oral and ICT skills are essential. You must hold a valid driving licence.
