Site Operative job summary
The Howard Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a highly effective Site Operative to join the Estates Department, to start from 1st September 2025. This role will be split between Miers Court Primary School and Waterfront UTC.
We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Site Operative to help maintain the school grounds and buildings. Duties include general maintenance, repairs, and ensuring a safe and well-kept environment for staff and pupils.
This is a full time, permanent, all year-round role, paid on the NJC pay scale D2 points 4-11. Actual Salary - (£30,630 - £34,266)
The working pattern will consist of 45 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 1 hour unpaid break each day.

The Howard Academy Trust started in Autumn 2015 and continues to grow.
