Site Operative job summary

You'll work as part of the team responsible for keeping our school safe, secure, well maintained and welcoming.

Your work will include:

  • general repairs and maintenance;
  • maintaining buildings and grounds;
  • routine health, safety and compliance checks;
  • opening and securing the school;
  • supporting contractors and improvement works;
  • responding to day-to-day maintenance requests;
  • supporting deliveries, events and room setups; and
  • helping maintain high standards across the site.

The team works across planned AM, Day and PM shifts, with rota's provided in advance.

We're looking for someone who:

  • is practical and willing to get stuck in;

  • communicates well with others;
  • understands the importance of working safely; and
  • wants to learn and develop.

Previous maintenance, estates or trade experience would be useful, but attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.
