Site Supervisor job summary

We are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor at Ryedale School to work proactively under the direction of the Estates Manager and Headteacher. The purpose of this role is to ensure the buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard in order to support the teaching and learning within Ryedale School. The responsibilities of the Site Supervisor will also regularly extend to other Ryedale Trust Sites, particularly Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, and Sinnington Primary Schools.
As Site Supervisor you will be responsible for the management of the site and site team, overseeing contractors working on site and assist in the provision of maintenance, security, caretaking, cleaning and portering, thereby ensuring a safe working environment. You will also ensure compliance and estates administration tasks are undertaken as required.
Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will be the main point of contact for day-to-day issues on site, leading the team in providing responsive and efficient services across the site. No two days will be the same, therefore you will be organised, have the ability to prioritise, and be flexible even whilst under pressure.
