We are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor at our St George’s Academy in Blackpool. The successful candidate will be a key member of the premises team, supporting the operation of the estate within this popular and over subscribed academy. This role requires someone who is proactive, is willing to be hands-on with day to day activities and is detail oriented.
Working directly under the Senior Site Supervisor, they will interface with other colleagues within the Academy and wider Trust. The Site Supervisor will contribute to the day to day procedures including Health & Safety (including estates related safeguarding matters), compliance, grounds, asbestos and contractors.
This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, all year round. The successful candidate will need to be flexible with their daily hours of work which will include some evening and occasional weekend work. You will need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of facilities management and health and safety related compliance. Stakeholder engagement is an essential part of this role, you will need to have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and be willing to work alongside the premises team and wider community to provide the best possible learning environment for every child in the Academy.
The successful post holder will be expected to follow review systems and working practices to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations, recognised standards, and Trust led processes and policies..
As a growing Trust, there may be opportunities for future development of the role as part of the Cidari MAT Estates and Compliance team.
The starting salary is £25,583 rising to £25,989 per annum. Other benefits include 22 days annual leave (plus 8 statutory bank holidays), rising to 27 days after 5 years
