Sixth Form Study Supervisor job summary

AGS are looking to recruit a Sixth Form Study Supervisor with the following key responsibilities:

To supervise silent study for approximately 60 sixth-form students

Administer a student attendance register

Be accountable for maintaining high standards of student conduct: silence, behaviour, dress

Enforce entry/exit rules

Ensure resources are used appropriately - PCs, printers, reference materials

Follow the school’s sanctions procedure

Create a supportive study environment: assist students in locating resources and using equipment

Undertake admin associated with the above tasks

In addition, the postholder will be asked to assist with general administrative tasks - as directed by the Principal. This administration is likely to relate to the areas of school life such as extra-curricular provision, trips, careers, Duke of Edinburgh awards, work experience etc.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
