Woodford Halse CE Primary Academy is a happy and successful school set in beautiful Northamptonshire. Our happy, confident children enjoy good relationships with our staff who work hard to provide a stimulating and exciting curriculum.

We are looking for a colleague to join our cheerful and enthusiastic team who:

  • Has the ability to recognise a child’s individual needs and support them to succeed

  • Work as part of a strong team

  • Bring a fun personality with a great sense of humour!

The role will support a named child, working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm (including a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak) Monday to Friday for 39 weeks per year.

Salary will be paid depending on experience on National Joint Council Point 3 £19,352 to £19,655.

Closing date for applications is Sunday 20 September 2026 at midnight. Shortlisting will take place w/c 21 August and interviews will be held w/c 28 September. Start date as soon as possible following successful interview and necessary checks.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and health check, social media check and provide two satisfactory references, one of which must be the most recent employer. Our recruitment procedures are in line with safer recruitment.

Woodford Halse C.E. Primary Academy is a rural school in the Northamptonshire countryside with 254 primary pupils and around 50 nursery pupils from the local villages. Our school is on a large site on the outskirts of the village with facilities such as a forest school, preschool, swimming pool and a large playing field on site.
