Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co Ordinator (SENDCO) job summary
This role will be suitable for a highly motivated individual working in a challenging position. The successful candidate must be able to lead and support staff in the development of their pedagogy; improving the outcomes for children with SEND across the school.

Lansbury Lawrence Primary School is a creative and successful, multi-cultural nursery primary school in the heart of Poplar, Tower Hamlets. The school accepts children from ages 3-11. The school was designed by renowned architects Yorke Rosenberg Mardell. It was built 1949 and debuted in the 1951 Festival Britain Exhibition. The school was named after George Lansbury and Susan Lawrence, two prominent political social reformers local to Poplar. Since inception, Lansbury Lawrence has a rich Arts & Crafts heritage , which it continues with today.
