What skills and experience we're looking for
The ideal candidate will:
- Have significant experience and knowledge of working in a school setting.
- Be extremely organised with excellent record-keeping and administrative skills.
- Have a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the wide range of additional needs encountered in education.
- Be friendly, caring, and capable of building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues alike.
- Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and awareness of Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 and Post-16 education pathways.
- Understanding of how pupils learn and how additional needs may impact this.
- Experience using ICT to support learning.
- Familiarity with differentiation strategies to meet a variety of learning needs.
