Sports Coach job summary

The Role

Hexthorpe Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Sports Coach to join their team!

 

The right Sports Coach will deliver a high standard of coaching and physical activity opportunities that are inclusive, progressive and reflective of the needs of the pupils. 

 

 

As our Sports Coach you will be:

Responsible for planning, preparing and delivering lessons in consultation with the PE lead and class teachers in accordance with the National Curriculum requirements for KS1 and KS2 pupils
Responsible for delivering the Primary Sports Premium Plan
Responsible
Able to effectively supervise, mentor and direct support staff during PE sessions
Able to organise and deliver out of hours sporting activities and experiences

 

We are looking for individuals who have:

Relevant sports qualifications
Experience of coordinating and delivering coaching programmes in a wide variety of sports
Experience of running after school clubs and liaising with the wider community including parents
