33 hours 20 minutes per week
8:50am – 4:30pm (Monday – Friday) with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
37 weeks of the year – term time only

Thameside Primary School wishes to appoint a reliable, flexible and enthusiastic Sports Coach to promote PE, school sport and physical activity to raise attainment. The successful candidate will support colleagues in the delivery of collaborative teaching and learning within and beyond the curriculum. Experience working with pupils in an education setting is essential. This position will involve:
- Supporting pupils, to ensure they are engaged in learning activities
- Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
- Acting as a role model, setting high expectations of conduct and promoting positive pupil behaviour, to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures about health & safety, welfare and wellbeing and safeguarding
- Establishing positive relationships with the pupils, parents and other staff in the school
