This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sport, fitness and helping others to achieve their health and wellbeing goals. You will play a key role in ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, well-maintained and welcoming, while delivering excellent customer service to members, clubs and community users.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will supervise the gym, support members with their fitness journeys, promote membership growth, assist with marketing activities and help maintain high standards across the Sports Hub. You will also ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose, follow all health and safety procedures, and contribute to the ongoing development of our facilities and services.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification or be willing to work towards achieving this, enabling them to supervise the gym, support members and deliver a range of fitness classes.

The role is to work 18 hours a week for the following hours: Saturday and Sunday mornings 8am-1pm and Monday and Thursday evenings 5pm – 9pm.

About You:

You will be proactive, organised and able to work independently as well as part of a team, taking pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. A commitment to continuous professional development, safeguarding, equality and high standards of service is essential.

Experience of working in a sports, leisure or fitness environment, together with coaching or instructing qualifications, would be an advantage, although not essential.
