Do you model respect, even in the most challenging moments?

Are you driven by ambition to help every student succeed, no matter their starting point?

Do you take responsibility for making meaningful, lasting interventions that transform young lives?

If so, Queen Katharine Academy would love to hear from you!

Your role:

As a Student Intervention Officer, you will be at the heart of targeted support, working closely with students who need focused behavioural, pastoral and attendance interventions to succeed in school. You will build strong, trusting relationships that enable students to re-engage with learning, modelling respect in every interaction while setting clear expectations that encourage responsibility and growth.

You will use your initiative and professional judgement to identify barriers, implement effective intervention strategies and monitor their impact. Working collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams and families, you will play a key role in improving outcomes for students by ensuring they feel supported, challenged and motivated to achieve their ambitions.

This role requires someone resilient, empathetic and highly organised, with strong communication skills and a calm, consistent approach. Experience of working with young people, particularly in a school or intervention setting, will help you thrive, alongside a genuine commitment to helping students overcome challenges and realise their full potential.

About us:

At Queen Katharine Academy, our values of respect, ambition and responsibility are not just words; they define how we work and how we support each other.
