What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a reliable, adaptable, and conscientious individual to support vulnerable students in achieving their full potential, including through the provision of wellbeing support, such as ELSA
The successful candidate will
- be well-motivated and keen to show their interest in Student Support
- To provide support to the Inclusion Support Manager and the Family Support Worker
- contribute to the development of the department as part of a dedicated team
- perform other duties that reasonably fall within the purview of the post which may be allocated after consultation with the post holder
- have a professional attitude that is open to innovative ways of working and be committed to working in partnership with a range of staff
- be flexible and adaptable when faced with challenges
- train as an ELSA and deliver a program of emotional literacy support to vulnerable students
- communicate with other colleagues in the pastoral team regarding emotionally vulnerable students and the provision of their support, including keeping records
