Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours, 40 weeks (term time plus two weeks)
Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm Friday 8am - 3:30pm

Your role:
As a Student Support Officer at Queen Katharine Academy, you will be at the heart of our students' academic and personal journeys. Imagine being the go-to person for students, helping them navigate their school life, and ensuring they have the support they need to succeed. You'll work closely with the Progress Leader and Tutor team, tackling day-to-day student issues, monitoring progress, and implementing strategies to boost attendance and punctuality. Your role will also involve engaging with families, supporting safeguarding efforts, and collaborating with external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
You'll need excellent communication skills, a knack for teamwork, and experience in an educational setting. Proficiency in MS Office applications and a solid understanding of inclusion and attendance strategies are key. If you can be firm yet fair with students and are flexible enough to meet the academy's needs, this role is perfect for you.
