Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for a Student Support Officer to join Stour Valley Community School, duties include:
- Support the Raising Standards Leads in providing pastoral care and behaviour support to the students
- Support the systems that will enable the school to improve on the base figures on attendance and truancy as set by the government.
- Provide support to allow students to better cope with the challenges they face.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working with children in a professional setting.
- The ability to write detailed reports, letters and complete complex returns.
- Ability to establish respectful and trusting relationships with children, their families, carers and other adults.
- Good organisational skills to manage your time effectively.
