What skills and experience we're looking for

Suitable for an established subject specialist from Food, Timber, Engineering Design or Product Design. You need to demonstrate your commitment to the teaching of your specialist area & have the capacity to lead curriculum development across specialisms at Key Stage 3. We require a practitioner who has the enthusiasm, skill & ability to make a positive contribution to this motivated & successful team.

It is desirable the successful candidate would be able to offer a second subject preferably within the compass of Design and Technology at least to KS3/4 standard as indicated in the person profile. Please indicate on your application further expertise or experience outside your material specialism. Applicants will need to evidence their commitment to excellent teaching and learning; to securing good or better outcomes for students; to developing student potential and skills from KS3 onwards, and to promoting the study of the subject at Level 2-3.
