What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an inspiring individual to lead language acquisition at an outstanding school. You may be an experienced middle leader or can demonstrate leadership potential. You should be a good Honours graduate and be able to teach post-16 to the highest academic standard.

Languages enjoy a central place within our internationally minded curriculum. We offer Spanish, French, Latin and Japanese (in the Sixth Form). All students study Spanish and French in Years 7 – 9 alongside Latin. They continue with at least one language to GCSE and in the Sixth Form. Students achieve excellent outcomes at GCSE and in the internationally recognised IB Diploma. Experience of teaching the IB is not essential. Training will be offered as required.

We are a high achieving selective grammar school with academy status, educating girls between the ages of 11 to 16 and girls and boys in the Sixth Form (1166 students on roll).
