  • Experience working in a similar role in a school setting.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with children and work with them to promote high standards of behaviour and cooperation.
  • Ability to assist in the supervision of pupils who are excluded from play when necessary.

Tyneview Primary School is seeking to appoint a Supervisory Assistant Level 1 from January 2026, to ensure the safety and welfare of pupils on the school site during the mid-day break, and for the safe conduct of pupils leaving and arriving at the school at the commencement and near the end of the mid-day break.

This role is working Monday to Friday, 6 hours per week.
