Swimming Assistant job summary

Are you a fun and energetic person who enjoys working with children? This could be the role for you! Oakfield First School is looking for a swimming assistant to support our swimming teacher with lessons for children from reception age to year 4, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

To assist the swimming teacher to deliver lessons to high standards

To help create a safe and fun pool environment for all of our pupils

Be aware of any particular needs of individual swimmers and act accordingly, communicating effectively with the Swimming Teacher.

Act professionally and courteously

To build positive relationships with children in swimming lessons and help them achieve their potential.

To set up and put away any equipment needed for lessons.

To work within the policies and procedures as required by the school.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
