Teacher job summary
We are an aspirational, highly motivated and supportive team, committed to ensuring that children’s learning, wellbeing and happiness remain at the heart of everything we do. As part of a forward-thinking Multi-Academy Trust, we work collaboratively to provide the very best educational experiences for our pupils while retaining the unique identity and ethos of our school.
Due to increasing classes, we have vacancies for permanent teachers at Castle Primary School - a vibrant school, situated in Keynsham, between Bath & Bristol.
The posts would ideally suit experienced MPS teachers looking for second school experience (or potentially a very strong ECT 1 or 2)
The knowledge, skills and experience to lead Computing (or History or MFL), across the school (or in the future if an ECT 1 or 2), would be an advantage.
The vacancies exist as we are moving towards two-parallel classes per year group. The actual year group for the posts are flexible. New recruits will be placed in year groups where they can have a swift impact on learning (as we have flexible teachers who enjoy teaching in different year groups).
This is an opportunity to make a real difference to children's lives and their futures. It is a chance to join a supportive team, on a continuous improvement journey to ensure all our children reach their potential.
We are seeking enthusiastic and flexible teachers, who understand the importance of going 'over and above' and are ready to commit to our children and team over the next few years.
Our children thrive with adults who are friendly, firm & fair, and we are seeking a teacher who is calm, consistent and committed. Being flexible and able to identify strongly with our school vision and values is also essential to be part of Team Castle.
We can offer you:
- Children who will make you smile everyday
- Parallel teacher (s) and classes to plan and work alongside
- Access to 'Teacher Admin' to reduce non-teaching tasks
- Schemes of Work (English, Maths and other subjects) and pre-planned topics
- In-class support from a committed team of TAs and support from an effective Pastoral Team
- Access to high quality CPD: At Trust, school and an individual level
- Opportunities to grow as a professional and develop a subject across the school
- Consideration of your 'well being' and access to support (in the eventuality any is required)
- Resources to support teaching: a high ratio of tech for children to use and well-stocked library
- The support of a Trust who like us, values its employees and our school's individuality
- A dedicated, supportive and creative team who strive for excellence
- A supportive and encouraging Leadership Team
- Access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme providing professional advice and wellbeing support
We would encourage visits to our school so you can see for yourself all we can offer and to help you to decide if we are the right school for you. Please contact Emma Sampson (admin@castleprimary.uk) or (0117 9864489) to arrange a tour.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
