We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated Class Teacher (KS2) to join our welcoming and ambitious school community from September 2026 on a 0.4 FTE, fixed term contract.

We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or will achieve this before September 2026
- We welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their career, including ECTs
- Has a secure understanding of effective primary teaching practice, including phonics
- Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching for all pupils
- Can plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that build on prior learning
- Uses assessment effectively to identify misconceptions and adapt teaching responsively
- Has high expectations for behaviour, presentation and achievement
- Can effectively adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND
- Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Is reflective, organised, enthusiastic and committed to ongoing professional development
- Will contribute positively to the wider life of the school community
The successful candidate will:
- Teach a class full time
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons using a mastery approach
- Use effective assessment to support strong pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school and wider trust
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school
- Maintain high expectations and create a positive learning environment where children thrive
