‘Staff are proud to work at the school and feel very well supported by leaders. Pupils are attentive, confident and enthusiastic’. (Ofsted 2018)
Here at Hunmanby Primary School we have created a happy school where everyone is inspired, enjoys and achieves every single day. Over the years, we have continually focused on making sure our children are nurtured, cared for and inspired to achieve their very best – by investing in our curriculum, educational setting and our staff.
Our values and ethos of ‘a school that inspires, enjoys and achieves’ is firmly embedded and we are constantly told by visitors, parents and the local authority that our school has a real warmth and energy about it. To be a colleague at Hunmanby Primary you have to be inclusive, inspiring and have the highest expectations for our children.
We are looking very much to the future. Ofsted visited us in November 2018 where we maintained our ‘good’ judgement and we are clear about our priorities moving forward. As a school we are well placed to achieve outstanding and sustained outcomes for our children, and we want our new colleague to add their own ideas and strategies to our school – where you will find a culture of team work and self-reflection, which is testament to our highly organised and stable staff team.
Our Opportunity
Hunmanby Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher within our busy, thriving and exciting EYFS Unit, which includes a 2yr old unit, a Nursery and a Reception Class.
Our school provides a caring, supportive environment for children to develop a love of learning and respect and understanding for others.
We encourage applications from candidates who have a passion for Early Years education and wish to work in a setting, which offers reward and challenge.
We are looking for:
• A skilled professional who has an engaging and dynamic style of teaching
• Someone who has the drive and ambition to make sure our children achieve their very best, and promotes academic excellence.
• A teacher with a flair and passion for primary education and who will embrace working and teaching in our school.
We can offer you:
• A warm, happy school where we value our community ethos and have a philosophy of treating each other with kindness and respect.
• Happy, enthusiastic and well behaved children.
• A school with unique and inspiring learning environments.
• An opportunity to work with an experienced and committed team and work in a school determined to reach the highest standards.
The date of commencement for this post will be at the start of term in September 2022.
Interviews will be as soon as possible after the closing date.
