What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a passionate, skilled and compassionate teacher/instructor to join our team. This role involves planning and delivering a creative, inclusive Art curriculum tailored to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The aim is to develop students’ creativity, confidence and self-expression through a wide range of artistic activities, while supporting their individual learning needs and wellbeing.

The teacher is responsible for ensuring pupil progress and engagement through well-structured, differentiated lessons, regular assessment and personalised support. The role also includes creating a safe, organised learning environment, managing resources, and promoting positive behaviour and independence.

Ongoing professional development, teamwork and active participation in school life are essential, alongside upholding the school’s values, policies and high standards.
