Teacher (KS1) job summary
High View School are looking for an inspiring, dynamic and hardworking Key Stage One Classroom Teacher, who is highly effective in the planning, teaching and evaluation of learning opportunities. The Classroom Teacher will join a supportive and successful team, committed to excellence, inclusion and high expectations for all.
The successful Classroom Teacher will have vision, energy and passion to provide a creative and invigorating learning environment for all children. We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher who prides themselves on delivering exciting learning experiences and has the creativity and determination to drive the school forward.
This position will be working Thursday and Friday. Whilst it is temporary in the first instance until 31st August 2025, there is potential for this to extend
We are looking for Classroom Teachers who:
Demonstrate excellent teaching skills
Proven experience of outstanding pupil progress
Demonstrate high expectations of both pupil achievement and behaviour
The ability to develop positive behaviour strategies with children and be committed to inclusion
Able to provide a stimulating, attractive and safe environment for the children
Able to build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
Flexible with a strong commitment to teamwork
Dedicated to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
Able to contribute to the wider life of the school
About the School
High View School is an outstanding primary school (Ofsted, November 2024), which is highly-regarded on a national scale and at the heart of our local community. We are a 1.5 form entry school, with around 350 pupils (which includes our dedicated nursery provision), and we benefit from working in a first-class learning environment, including a purpose-built school building and a range of exceptional outside play and learning environments.
