A sound knowledge and understanding of teaching, learning and assessment, accompanied with a commitment to enabling all children to achieve their fullest potential are essential components of the role, so that each learner will be enabled to achieve the maximum benefit from their education at Gorsemoor.
The role of a class teacher is varied, where no two days are the same, it is essential therefore that the successful candidate must be able to use their initiative, have high levels of self-reflection and a commitment to their growing professional development, energy and resilience. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about creating a rich, inclusive, and balanced environment for children.
