Teacher (Maternity Cover) job summary

We are looking for a successful teacher to work in our thriving school on a full-time basis for a fixed term to cover Maternity Leave. Working in upper KS2, you will be a passionate teacher and share our vision to enable all our children to achieve their full potential. We are looking for applicants who: ~ Are passionate about teaching and able to demonstrate a genuine care for the individual pupils ~ Are prepared to plan, develop and teach lessons that cater for the needs of each individual child in their care ~ Incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies ~ Are able to maintain open communications with parents and work colleagues in building and maintaining a supportive and encouraging team environment ~ Is committed to raising standards of attainment, achievement, behaviour and well-being of pupils ~ Have experience of teaching English to Year 5 ~ Keep abreast of educational developments ~ Keep accurate and updated ongoing records and prepare reports ~ Have experience teaching in mixed year groups.
