We are a large secondary academy for students aged 11-16 years based in Hucknall and, together with our partner academies, offer post 16 study at the Hucknall Sixth Form Centre.
We support our young people, so they enjoy their time at the academy and play a key part in all that academy life has to offer. We are immensely proud of the successes achieved by our students and we constantly strive to do more and be even better. Our ultimate purpose is very simple – to do everything that we can to ensure that our students leave ready to take their place in an increasingly complicated and competitive world.
Diverse Academies is a multi-academy trust with a vision to inspire, to raise aspirations and to create brighter tomorrows. Across primary, secondary and special settings, we share a common mission to nurture curiosity, develop wellbeing and empower children and young people to go beyond their aspirations. Together, we believe we can make a difference in our diverse communities, and in the lives of those who learn with us and work with us.
We empower. We respect. We care.
Outstanding teaching and learning is our priority. Our highly qualified and motivated staff work hard to ensure our students achieve at the highest level, whatever their starting point.
Arranging a visit to The Holgate Academy
At Holgate, when we put our shared values into action we ask our academy community to demonstrate 'Manners, Determination and Teamwork'. We empower each student to strive for their personal best in intellectual, physical, spiritual, moral, social and cultural growth, and ensure each is supported to develop personally as well as academically.
Visits are welcomed and encouraged – please contact Lynsey Baum - email@example.com to arrange, or for further information.
