What skills and experience we're looking for
An opportunity has arisen at Ryhall CE Academy! We are looking to recruit an experienced, passionate and knowledgeable Teacher, to join our committed team, to provide Maternity Cover for our wonderful Year 5 class.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for learning and teaching and the ability to share it with our children.
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner.
- Can enable quality teaching, excellent learning outcomes and success for all pupils.
- Relishes a challenge.
- Understands how to make learning interesting and relevant.

Further details about the role
Start date: June 2023 is ideal, however willing to accept a August 2023 start. INSET days begin on the 29th August, with children beginning on the 30th.

Following a successful Ofsted inspection in February 2023, the school has received a very well-deserved rating of Good. Ofsted Inspectors noted that pupils engage fully in lessons and demonstrate positive attitudes to their learning. They understand what it means to be resilient and actively help each other in lessons. Pupils are happy and say that they are proud of their school.

Currently, the school is led by two co-headteachers, Barbara O’Brien and Alan Reed. Visits are actively encouraged.
