An opportunity has arisen at Ryhall CE Academy! We are looking to recruit an experienced, passionate and knowledgeable Teacher, to join our committed team, to provide Maternity Cover for our wonderful Year 5 class.

We are looking for someone who:

Further details about the role

Start date: June 2023 is ideal, however willing to accept a August 2023 start. INSET days begin on the 29th August, with children beginning on the 30th.

Following a successful Ofsted inspection in February 2023, the school has received a very well-deserved rating of Good. Ofsted Inspectors noted that pupils engage fully in lessons and demonstrate positive attitudes to their learning. They understand what it means to be resilient and actively help each other in lessons. Pupils are happy and say that they are proud of their school.

We work hard to ensure that our staff have every opportunity to develop as professionals throughout their career and will do all we can to support your development. Our staff are committed to ensuring that our children get the best possible education. All children feel cared for and supported on their learning journey. We strive to meet the needs of individual children and support them in becoming enthusiastic and successful learners.

At Ryhall, we pride ourselves in creating a school and working atmosphere that is friendly, with good working conditions, with well-being and workload at the forefront of our minds with all decision making. All members of staff are appreciated and valued for every contribution they can make and there is all staff member viewpoints are valid and listened to. We pride ourselves on high expectations and outcomes for our children through a curriculum, aimed at nurturing the whole child academically and personally.

Currently, the school is led by two co-headteachers, Barbara O’Brien and Alan Reed. Visits are actively encouraged.
