What skills and experience we're looking for
Degree or equivalent in PE or related subject
Qualified teacher status
Evidence of continuing professional development
Degree at 2:1 or above
Achieved coaching qualifications in a number of sports
Good knowledge of the PE curriculum
Competent use of digital technologies
Track record of examination success
Ability to teach boy’s PE and supervise boys’ changing rooms
A willingness to teach PE in our partner primary schools
Commitment to being involved in the wider life of school through participation in extra-curricular activities
Willing to organise and participate in enrichment visits to the UK and abroad
Experience of working in a similar setting
Plays at least one sport to at least regional level
Enjoys working with young people
Enthusiasm for subject
Able to engage, enthuse and motivate students of all abilities
Maintains high professional standards
