What skills and experience we're looking for
If you are a Business and Economics teacher that is passionate about delivering excellent lessons, and motivated by developing the next generation of entrepreneurial thinkers who understand and question the economic systems around them, then read on!
We wish to appoint a dedicated and outstanding Business and Economics teacher to join our highly successful and popular department. This role is due to commence after Easter 2024 and is a result of the continued expansion of student numbers on the department at both GCSE and A Level.
The successful applicant will have high expectations, and will be a reflective practitioner who is always keen to develop and improve their teaching. They will appreciate their role in helping our students to have high aspirations, and they will share our belief that our students deserve an exceptional curriculum and the very best teaching. The ability to teach Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 Business and Key Stage 5 Economics is essential. A willingness to participate in Enterprise Education (in particular Young Enterprise) would be an advantage. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and ECTs for post. A willingness to teach in another subject would be advantageous.
