Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week (Part time hours considered) 

 

Provisional Start Date: 01 January 2027 

  This is an exciting opportunity to join Hans Price Academy as a Teacher of Computer Science, working within our Work Related Learning department. You will join a supportive and ambitious team, delivering engaging Computer Science lessons and helping our students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for their future.

About you 

You will be: 

  • A qualified teacher. 
  • Able to deliver Computer Science across relevant key stages, consistently providing high-quality, engaging lessons. 
  • Committed to meeting the needs of all learners, including students from key identified groups such as Pupil Premium, looked after children, SEND and high attaining students. 
  • A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents. 
  • Passionate about Computer Science and able to inspire students to develop their knowledge, skills and curiosity within the subject. 
  • Keen to contribute to the wider Work Related Learning department and support opportunities that enrich students' experiences beyond the classroom. 
  • Committed to developing your own expert practice and contributing positively to the development of the wider team. 
  • Able to demonstrate high standards of professional practice in line with the Teachers’ Standards.
