Teacher of Creative Arts
Main Pay Scale
(one year fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave)
We require a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Creative Arts to join our dedicated, talented and hardworking department in September, 2024. This is initially a one-year fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave but may lead to a permanent position.
The Creative Arts department offer a range of courses across Key stages 3-5 within the Trust; Art, 3D Design, Photography and Food and Nutrition. As a CRST Academy we have a strong commitment to the Arts, and the department is extremely popular with students at GCSE and A Level. The ability to teach Food and Nutrition would be beneficial along with the ability to teach other subjects within Creative Arts.
The school received an ‘Outstanding’ grade in all categories from OFSTED in December 2018 and we are a designated National Teaching School and National Support School. This is a very exciting time to be joining a highly motivated and successful team. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified as well as more experienced professionals who possess the necessary drive and commitment to work with our students to contribute to the continued improvement of the school. In return there will be clear opportunities for personal and professional development.
